Jamie Jones Fabric mix review
New Four Tet loveliness

It’s a new Four Tet track and, yes it is all sorts of excellence.
The final track from his forthcoming garage-heavy Fabriclive 59 mix, it’s a perfect closer to what is the best Fabric release I’ve listened to this year. Distinct in texture and construction to the rest of the album, Locked provides a last minute musical curve-ball and a passionate, elongated kiss goodbye to a very personal journey through Hebden’s crates of vinyl.
I will be producing a hyperbole-heavy review of the Fabric album soon, but for the mean time feast your ears on the above and eagerly anticipate the first musical event of the autumn.
Shackleton Tangles Fabric…

Tonight’s review tipple is Shackleton’s Fabric CD. Out on the 5th December, the album features exclusively all Shack’s own material (with its intention being to sound like one of his live sets). One of Fabric’s most enigmatic releases to date, I have a feeling this is going to split the critics….
