Free Com Truise for everyone. FOR EVERYONE.

I have to admit it took me a long time to warm to Com Truise.
As ridiculous as it sounds, the name ‘Com Truise’ put me off for a while. What a shit name, I thought. Don’t want to listen to that, I concluded.
Then I was sent his sparkling début album to review and dag-gummit, it won me over. Just like the Galactic Melt of its title, the record appears at first huge and awkward but slowly melts and floods every inch of your soul. A truly magnificent début that’s made it into my end of year charts and a timely reminder of why you should never judge a book by its gregarious cover.
Anyway, ol’ Com has got a new EP out and to convince you of its merits he’s giving away a rather lovely track from it for FREE. Get it here.
He’s also imminently embarking on a European tour and I will be jealous of any of you who make it to a show.

VHS Sex with Com Truise
After some initial sceptical feelings (mostly because of his rubbish alter-ego name) I have grown to love and obsess over Com Truise’s music. His new album Galactic is an experience that sounds like Vangellis have come out retirement to score a soundtrack to a retro porno-movie. In others words; it’s genius.
My full album review will be published in the new issue of IDJ magazine which should be out any day now. Check your local newsagents, and if they don’t stock it, demand that they do!
