Late last week I caught up with James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco to chat about the duo’s new album,  a conversation which soon veered into a frank discussion about how what he thinks of the music they’ve produced in the past, the plans for their new live show, the possibilities of Simian reforming (its unlikely) and the future of their Delicacies techno label.

‘Because our first album is electro, we’ve been struggling against that label ever since.’

‘This record is us finally arriving at a place that we are comfortable with – which is perhaps an odd thing to realise a few albums in.’
