Summer Readin’
Outside the grey sky is unleashing a thin rain that hammers down on the windows panes: it must be summer. As usual the season brings the usual deluge of literary ambitions and opportunities that tend to distract from day-to-day duties (such as the updating of this website).

The current issue of IDJ magazine features my interview with the lovely Luke Abbott, check out the issue to get insider’s info on how he creates the strange, warped music that has cemented his reputation as the next electronic-genius-cum-wizard. My review of Abbott’s album Holkham Drones will be on Data Transmission before the end of the month (and you can read what I thought of his most recent EP here).
Elsewhere, reviews for the likes of Crystal Castles, James Holden, Robert Hood, Neon Circus and Luke Abbott are online at Data Transmission ( an online index of reviews is forthcoming) and a few festival writes up are in the pipeline – lets hope the weather improves.
Fiction writing is still on the horzion and I’m looking for a platform for a few short stories I’ve written – if you’re interested in reading any in the near future, then watch this space.
